Description
Placer County is hiring one full-time Senior Planner for its Community Development Resource Agency. The position can be based in Auburn or Tahoe City and offers a hybrid remote work environment with occasional evening and weekend work and travel to countywide locations. Responsibilities include complex land-use and environmental planning, development review, zoning and sign enforcement, environmental analysis, public presentations, staff supervision, and coordination with agencies and the public. Applicants need planning experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent training in urban, regional, environmental, or a closely related field; the posting also requires a driver's license and possible vehicle insurance and medical clearance. The salary is $52.44–$65.49 per hour, with an additional $1,100 per month possible for a permanent North Lake Tahoe assignment.
