ERCOT is hiring a Power System Engineer to provide electrical engineering analysis and technical support for large-load interconnection stability, NERC reliability studies, transmission planning, and interconnection reliability assessments. The role uses power-system simulation tools such as PSSE, VSAT, TSAT, and PowerWorld to perform stability screening, PV, angular and voltage stability, short-circuit, and sensitivity analyses; develop mitigation recommendations; review stakeholder reports and dynamic models; and prepare technical documentation. The position is hybrid, requiring on-site work in Taylor, Texas at least two to three days per week, with remote work from a Texas residence, and offers a salary range of $144,000 to $198,000.
