AFRY is hiring a Planning Engineer for Overhead Contact Lines – Railway Technical Equipment in Essen to independently plan overhead contact line systems for new-build, expansion, and refurbishment projects. The role covers preparation of planning documents, technical coordination with clients and partners, interface management with railway technical equipment disciplines, project quality and cost control, and support for proposals and feasibility studies. Applicants need a relevant engineering degree and professional experience in overhead contact line planning; knowledge of rail regulations, CAD, BIM, German, and English is also relevant.
