Description
ERCOT is hiring a Power System Engineer to provide electrical engineering analysis and technical support for the planning and operations of the electric power system. The role involves power-system modeling, steady-state and dynamic contingency analyses, stability assessments, operating-limit studies, simulation-automation tools, and reporting for ERCOT, NERC, and other stakeholders. The position is open to Engineer 2, Engineer 3, or Senior Engineer levels depending on experience, requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent education-and-experience combination, and requires on-site work at least two days per week within Texas. The expected salary range is $109,000 to $150,000.
