Description
The Plant Engineer designs, maintains, and improves mechanical, electrical, structural, refrigeration, wastewater, and food-processing systems in a food manufacturing or industrial facility. The role manages maintenance and capital budgets, oversees maintenance operations and contractors, supports process safety and risk management, and mentors industrial maintenance associates. It requires engineering education or vocational training, three to five years of plant engineering experience, CMMS and automation experience, refrigeration and utilities knowledge, and strong analytical and communication skills.
