Description
Artech is hiring a Plant Engineer Controls to develop and implement improvements to control systems and equipment, troubleshoot PLC-based automation, integrate controls with Factory Information Systems and other industrial technologies, coordinate installations and engineering changes, maintain program backups, program new automation and robotics installations, and support safety risk assessments. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, five years of related controls experience, PLC experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work directly for Artech on W2; a bachelor's degree in engineering and experience with Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, UL508A, NFPA79, and machining automation are preferred.
