Tata Steel UK is recruiting a Plant Engineer (Electrical) for the Hot Rolled Products department at its Port Talbot site. The role supports the Section Engineer by coordinating engineering activities, implementing engineering standards, improving manufacturing performance, and developing preventative maintenance regimes. It involves electrical engineering in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, failure analysis, maintenance planning, fault response, contractor management, and compliance with safety and engineering standards. The position requires at least an HNC, experience in electrical engineering and maintenance, and knowledge of industrial drives, power distribution up to 11kV, PLCs, fault finding, wiring regulations, and compliance practices.
