Description
The Plant Operations Supervisor at the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University oversees daily facilities maintenance, housekeeping, preventive maintenance, work-order management, capital renewal planning, budgets, vendors, and contractors. The role directly supervises five plant operations employees and additional contractors, coordinates multi-trade work involving HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, construction, engineering, and general maintenance, ensures compliance with OSHA and applicable building and safety regulations, and responds in person to emergency maintenance issues as needed, including 24-hour availability. It requires a high school diploma/GED or trade school education, at least three years of directly related experience, prior supervisory experience, and a valid driver’s license.
