Koch Fertilizer is hiring a Plant Operator in Wever, Iowa to monitor and control ammonia, urea, UAN, nitric acid, and utility operations. The role involves safely starting, operating, and shutting down equipment, coordinating with maintenance, laboratory, and other service departments, responding to process deviations, and supporting safety, environmental, documentation, and continuous-improvement activities. The position requires rotating 12-hour shifts, outdoor work in all weather, and physically demanding work including climbing, lifting, confined-space entry, and use of personal protective equipment. The role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
