Description
GFL Environmental is hiring a Plant Operator for its Pickering location in the liquids division. The role handles waste receiving, sampling, loading and unloading, plant machinery operation, hazardous and non-hazardous waste processing, shipment preparation, documentation, and safety compliance. Candidates should be willing to work overtime, alternate shifts, weekends, and in outdoor conditions, and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, air diaphragm pump, bulk liquid transfer, and propane forklift experience are assets.
