Description
OPAL Fuels is hiring a full-time Plant Operator to run and maintain a reciprocating-engine landfill-gas power generation facility in Henrico, Virginia. The role operates Caterpillar 3500-series gensets and auxiliary equipment, monitors plant conditions, performs maintenance and repairs, maintains records and inventory, responds to call-outs, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, diesel or large reciprocating engine experience, mechanical skills, troubleshooting ability, and computer skills; basic electrical knowledge and welding experience are preferred. It is scheduled Monday through Friday on an eight-hour rotating on-call shift with overtime and weekend availability, and pays $37.00–$40.00 hourly with a bonus for eligible positions.
