Description
The Plant Water Technician maintains and troubleshoots plant process water, potable water, wastewater, and phosphorous removal treatment systems supporting an energy station. The role monitors water quality and treatment systems, receives and offloads chemical deliveries, analyzes process samples, calibrates analytical instrumentation, and collaborates with power operations on cycle chemistry adjustments. It requires night, weekend, and holiday availability for projects, testing, or unit outages, and may fill in for the plant chemistry supervisor. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, Colorado water and wastewater licenses or the ability to obtain them, and forklift and overhead crane operator certification; an associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
