Type One Energy is hiring a Plasma Diagnostics Scientist to lead the conceptualization, design, construction, deployment, and operation of diagnostic systems for an advanced fusion stellarator. The role includes developing data-analysis models, participating in experiments, mentoring junior scientists and engineers, and contributing to multidisciplinary projects. Candidates need a Ph.D. in Physics, Engineering, or a related field, extensive fusion or plasma-diagnostics experience, strong instrumentation and data-analysis skills, and familiarity with fusion-experiment safety.
