Description
This donor-center medical role registers and screens plasma donors, performs vital signs and finger-stick testing, conducts medical history interviews and physical examinations to determine donor eligibility, counsels donors about unacceptable results, manages post-donation investigations and adverse events, and follows emergency, regulatory, safety, and operating procedures. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, an active state license or certification as an EMT, LPN/LVN, RN, NP, or PA, CPR certification, communication and basic computer skills, and preferably one year of work experience.
