Description
The role involves loading and unloading material from a plasma table, shearing and breaking metal, cleaning and preparing materials, and learning to operate all equipment. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and maintaining plasma cutting machines, industrial shears, and break equipment; reading blueprints; adjusting machine settings; monitoring cutting quality; replacing torch heads; and performing light preventative maintenance. The position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, basic math, physical strength to lift 30–60 pounds, tape-measure reading, and the ability to work collaboratively for eight hours per day.
