The Plaster Pattern Maker lays out, constructs, repairs, and coordinates complex plaster patterns, master models, mock-ups, fixtures, form blocks, and other plaster tooling from templates, blueprints, loft data, and engineering information. The role may supply missing details, recommend changes, determine molding methods, make templates, and instruct or coordinate other employees. It also may involve related plastic tooling operations and requires five years of plaster modeling or plaster pattern-making experience.
