Description
Pact Packaging is hiring a permanent full-time Plastics Technician Die Setter–Blowmoulding at its Christchurch site. The role performs die and mould changeovers, sets up and optimises blowmoulding machines, monitors production quality, troubleshoots machinery and tooling, conducts preventative maintenance, reduces waste and cycle times, maintains production documentation, and trains operators. Candidates need at least three years of experience in a plastics or blowmoulding environment, strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, knowledge of quality assurance and manufacturing processes, and experience operating blow moulding machinery. The role pays $35.00 to $43.00 per hour depending on experience, includes overtime at 1.5x, and offers visa and settlement support for international Die Setters.
