Q-Block Computing is hiring a full-time, on-site Platform & Infrastructure Engineer in Ottawa to design, build, and maintain the distributed computing and networking backbone for its quantum-control systems. The role covers embedded Linux system images for ARM compute modules, tiered LAN architectures, network services, web-based management applications, Python/Bash/Ansible automation, monitoring, observability, quality assurance, and documentation. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree, at least four years of professional experience spanning two of embedded Linux, network infrastructure, or full-stack web development, and strong Linux, networking, web, Python, and automation skills. The position offers $100,000–$140,000 CAD per year and extended health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.
