Description

Squarepoint is hiring a Platform Applications Specialist to help deliver mission-critical platform infrastructure using DevOps practices. The role involves working with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain automated platform solutions and services, design and monitor platform infrastructure, and automate everyday tasks using scripting and configuration management tools. The position is aimed at someone with up to four years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience and strong skills in Python, git, Bash, Linux, and related tooling.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline
Required Previous Experiences: Up to 4 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GitLab, Artifactory, or Docker
Experience with Ansible and Terraform
Experience with HPC and orchestration tools like Slurm or Kubernetes
Experience with databases and observability tools such as Elasticsearch, Datadog, Prometheus, or PostgreSQL
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Eagerness to learn new technologies
