Description
Google is hiring a Platform Customer Engineer to partner with technical sales teams and serve as a customer’s primary technical advisor. The role involves understanding customer business challenges, troubleshooting technical roadblocks, conducting proofs of concept and demos, architecting cross-pillar cloud solutions, driving technical wins, defining delivery and consumption plans, and supporting post-sales transitions through implementation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 10 years of cloud-native architecture experience in a customer-facing or support role, and experience with cloud engineering, virtualization, containerization, programming, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops. Compensation is $152,000–$221,000 USD plus a 42.86% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
