Description

Deepgram is hiring a Platform Engineer to build and operate a hybrid infrastructure foundation for its AI/ML research and product development. The role covers Kubernetes and Terraform platform architecture, bare-metal data-center infrastructure, GPU workload scheduling with Slurm, networking and storage, observability, automation, and developer tooling. Candidates need at least five years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering, along with production Terraform, large-scale Kubernetes, scripting, and CI/CD expertise.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Hands-on experience building and managing production infrastructure with Terraform.
Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and operations in a large-scale environment.
Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Go, or Bash.
Experience with CI/CD systems and building developer tooling.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Slurm for GPU-intensive AI workloads.
Experience managing bare-metal infrastructure and server provisioning.
Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and storage solutions.
Experience in a multi-region or hybrid cloud environment.
