AeroVect is hiring a Platform Engineer to own the reliability, performance, and scalability of the software foundation supporting its autonomous ground vehicle fleet. The role focuses on Ubuntu/Linux distributions, ROS 2 middleware, kernel and user-space drivers, networking, observability, security, OTA updates, and CI/CD pipelines, while collaborating with autonomy, perception, and controls teams. Candidates need at least three years of experience with Linux-based embedded or robotics platforms and strong knowledge of systems, C/C++, Python, ROS, real-time tuning, and containerized build systems.
