Akuna Capital is hiring a Platform Engineer to design and implement cloud solutions, automate infrastructure as code, improve cloud governance and security, and monitor hybrid-cloud environments. The role works closely with Trading, Development, Infrastructure, and Operations teams, with responsibilities spanning AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, observability, CI/CD, Linux administration, and distributed cloud-native systems. The position is available hybrid from Chicago or fully remote, requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of infrastructure/platform engineering experience, and offers a minimum base salary of $145,000 plus bonus and benefits.
