Description
The Platform Engineer will design schemas, migrations, and real-time pipelines supporting hundreds of concurrent machine-learning jobs that extract data from technical documents. The role owns the data layer for an AI agent product, consolidates messy schemas into a scalable architecture, and makes data easy for other engineers to query. It requires at least five years of engineering experience, a computer science or computer engineering degree, production experience with data-intensive systems, and deep database knowledge; Postgres and Aurora are preferred, while streaming pipelines, OLAP engines, and Temporal are advantageous.
