Description
Mako is hiring a Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate an on-premises Kubernetes platform built on a self-managed Linux VM fabric using KVM/libvirt. The role owns infrastructure from the hypervisor and VM provisioning through Kubernetes cluster lifecycle, networking, storage, control-plane operations, security, observability, disaster recovery, and GitOps delivery. It requires hands-on experience with self-managed Kubernetes, Linux systems administration, infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, and full-stack troubleshooting, with desirable experience in bare-metal provisioning, regulated environments, open-source tooling, and AI infrastructure.
