Description
Nexus is hiring a Platform Engineer to own the infrastructure supporting long-horizon AI Agents in manufacturing environments. The role covers deployment architecture across cloud, customer VPCs, and on-prem plant networks; observability across application, platform, and infrastructure layers; industrial connectivity to Rockwell, Siemens, SAP, and UNS systems; and containerization and internal networking. Candidates need at least two years of production-system experience, strong software development and distributed-system fundamentals, and familiarity with containers, networking, and cloud infrastructure. The role is based in San Francisco, with occasional travel for events and customer visits.
