Description
Span is hiring a Platform Engineer to build internal developer platforms, AI-powered tooling, automation, and infrastructure that improve engineering productivity and reliability. The role involves creating software catalogs, service-ownership models, engineering portals, workflows, self-service infrastructure, and LLM- and AI-agent-driven operations; partnering with engineering teams; and improving onboarding, incident response, documentation, and developer workflows. The position requires experience with platform engineering, developer infrastructure, DevEx, SRE, or internal tooling, along with systems thinking and experience using LLMs, AI agents, and agentic workflows. The listed technology stack includes TypeScript, NestJS, React, Python, Postgres, Redis, Kafka, Airbyte, Dagster, AWS, Kubernetes, and FluxCD.
