Sand is hiring a Platform Engineer to own and operate production Kubernetes clusters across AWS EKS and on-premises or bare-metal environments. The role focuses on designing reliable, secure, self-service platform capabilities, implementing GitOps and CI/CD, establishing observability and SRE practices, and resolving infrastructure issues. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, at least five years of cloud or platform engineering experience, significant production Kubernetes experience, and experience with on-premises and bare-metal Kubernetes deployments.
