Vultr is hiring a Platform Engineer - Cloud Native to harden and scale the infrastructure powering its global cloud platform. The role focuses on production automation with Ansible, Terraform, and Go; Kubernetes internals and container runtime integrations; CI/CD and deployment pipelines; troubleshooting distributed systems; security hardening; observability; and open-source contributions. Candidates need at least five years of platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure experience, along with strong Kubernetes, Go, infrastructure-as-code, container security, and observability expertise. Compensation is $125,000-$135,000, with final compensation varying by experience, background, location, and applicable laws.
