Foxconn Assembly, LLC is hiring a full-time Platform Engineer (Database & Infrastructure) in Houston, Texas. The role performs on-premises database administration, backup and recovery, performance troubleshooting, platform services maintenance for Redis, MinIO, and Kafka, server security and maintenance, and basic CI/CD support. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, at least two years of database administration or database-heavy development/support experience, and knowledge of T-SQL, database security, Windows Server, and Linux. Microsoft SQL Server or Azure Data certifications, high-availability experience, and exposure to on-premises platform services are preferred.
