Description
The Platform Engineer performs day-to-day database administration, platform services maintenance, and infrastructure support for an on-premises engineering environment. Responsibilities include database monitoring, backup and recovery, query performance optimization, administration of Redis, MinIO, and Kafka, Windows and Linux server maintenance, security operations, basic CI/CD troubleshooting, and documentation. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline and at least two years of database administration or database-heavy development/support experience.
