Description
Lightning AI is hiring a Platform Engineer to partner with customers and customer engineering teams on end-to-end production AI systems. The role covers architecture, proof-of-concept development, deployment, monitoring, debugging, optimization, and scaling across inference infrastructure, distributed systems, APIs, and AI workflows. It requires strong full-stack software engineering experience, customer-facing technical work, AI/ML systems knowledge, cloud and distributed-systems experience, and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. The role is based in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, or London with at least two in-office days per week, and offers a base salary of $180,000–$250,000 USD plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
