Description

ResMed’s Global Technology Solutions division is hiring a Platform Engineering Manager to lead a distributed Platform Engineering team building and operating a cloud-native compute platform on AWS and Kubernetes that hosts AI/ML applications. The role blends people leadership and deep technical ownership, with responsibility for platform strategy, reliability, scalability, incident management, developer experience, and cross-functional partnership across engineering, architecture, security, and business stakeholders.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years in Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering
2+ years leading and developing engineering teams to build AI infrastructure/PaaS
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in globally distributed teams
Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, or financial services
Familiarity with AI-driven engineering productivity or platform optimization
Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, networking, security, observability, and operational excellence
Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code
