Description
SUSE is hiring a Platform Engineering Manager, Shared Services to lead a junior-to-mid engineering team managing a portfolio of source control, CI/CD, monitoring, backup, and other IT services. The role provides architectural direction, prioritizes the service portfolio, drives SLO-based reliability and incident response, leads AI adoption, applies FinOps, integrates shadow IT, and collaborates across IT and business units. Candidates need several years of IT/infrastructure experience, including at least three years managing engineering teams, a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong systems architecture knowledge, and AI literacy. The Italy salary range is €67,000–€80,000.
