Description
Snowflake is hiring Software Engineers for its Cloud Infrastructure Engineering teams to build, operate, and improve highly scalable, resilient, and performant cloud infrastructure and services. The role involves developing infrastructure, platforms, tools, and automation; providing technical leadership on complex projects; evangelizing the platform; mentoring junior team members; and maintaining high service reliability and cost efficiency. Candidates should have a BS/CS, MS/CS, or equivalent, at least two years of platform or cloud experience supporting mission-critical services in a SaaS environment, at least one year of cloud computing experience, strong software engineering fundamentals, fluency in a major programming language, and expertise in areas such as container platforms, automation, networking, operating systems, site reliability, configuration management, or infrastructure as code.
