Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Platform Software Engineer (Networking Systems) to architect and build system software for high-performance Ethernet switching networking platforms. The role owns end-to-end design and implementation across chassis, line-card services, Ethernet interfaces, optics, and system infrastructure; works within JunOS or Junos Evolved; partners with test and support teams; and performs root-cause analysis and production issue resolution. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, typically 4–10 years of experience, and strong low-level systems, networking, C/C++, and hardware/firmware integration skills. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of working from an HPE office two days per week.
