TrellisWare is hiring a full-time Platform Software Porting Engineer to design, develop, and test the software platform execution environments for partner radio vendor Software Defined Radio products. The role involves creating and maintaining Linux and RTOS hardware abstraction layers, configuring peripheral and inter-processor abstractions, developing hardware-specific software components, analyzing performance, debugging radio systems, and supporting embedded communications and wireless systems. Candidates must have a relevant bachelor's degree, at least four years of embedded Linux or RTOS board support package experience, two years with Yocto Project, and strong C/C++ and Python skills. The position is remote within the Netherlands, requires EU residency and a European language, and may require international travel and work outside standard local business hours.
