Description
Google is hiring a Platform Solution Architect to partner with technical sales teams and serve as a customer’s primary technical advisor. The role involves understanding customer business challenges, troubleshooting technical roadblocks, conducting proofs of concept and demos, architecting cross-pillar cloud solutions, driving technical wins, defining delivery and consumption plans, and supporting post-sales transitions and implementation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 10 years of cloud-native architecture experience in a customer-facing or support role, and experience with cloud engineering, virtualization, containerization, technical presentations, and programming or systems design. The role is based in Vancouver or Calgary, Canada, with a CAD 194,000–198,000 base salary, a 42.86% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
