Description
Zoox is hiring a Platform System Vehicle Test Engineer to develop and execute vehicle-level testing for autonomous safety-critical systems supporting its robotaxi. The role involves planning vehicle tests, coordinating with systems, firmware, software motion controls, vehicle engineering, and operations teams; interpreting test data and balancing physical testing with simulation; analyzing requirements and maintaining traceability; operating robot and test instrumentation; troubleshooting field failures; and developing automated data extraction tools. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, at least six years of test engineering experience, knowledge of vehicle dynamics and control systems, familiarity with automotive communication protocols, and proficiency with Python or Matlab. The position includes a base salary range, stock-based compensation, and health insurance.
