Description
The Plating Associate will operate high-speed reel-to-reel plating equipment to coat metal products with gold, nickel, matte tin, or other metals. Responsibilities include setting up and operating plating machines, reading blueprints, maintaining quality and efficiency standards, minimizing scrap, and supporting plant operations as instructed. The role requires critical thinking, attention to detail, troubleshooting, teamwork, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while working in a noisy, chemically exposed environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous electroplating experience is preferred.
