The Playground Supervisor plans, coordinates, and supervises recreation and leisure programs at Chicago Park District playgrounds or parks. The role supervises cleaning and maintenance staff, oversees facility safety and maintenance, manages equipment and records, schedules athletic and community activities, recruits and trains volunteers, and develops safety rules. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and either four years of park and recreation experience or six years of related work experience, with a bachelor’s degree preferred. The position offers an annual rate of $77,469.18 and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance.
