Description
Apple's Hardware Test Engineering group is hiring a PLC Automation Engineer to own the software architecture, control logic, and integration of complex automated test fixtures. The role serves as the PLC Direct Responsible Individual for critical test stations, governs automation frameworks and standards, supports external system integrators, and leads control-level integration for future smart-factory initiatives. The engineer will work with mechanical, software, instrumentation, and operations teams, requiring a relevant engineering degree, at least three years of PLC and industrial automation experience, IEC 61131-3 Structured Text proficiency, motion-control and industrial-networking expertise, and willingness to travel for field work.
