ALTEN is hiring a PLC Developer / Automation Engineer to develop and program control solutions with TwinCAT 3, commission and optimize Beckhoff-based automation systems, integrate interfaces with machines, robotics, and higher-level systems, troubleshoot faults, support digital twins and virtual commissioning, and create technical documentation. The role requires automation or electrical engineering training, strong German skills, PLC programming experience, knowledge of TwinCAT 3, EtherCAT, industrial protocols, and safety standards, plus programming skills in C# or Python. The position offers flexible working hours, mobile working, and requires travel for commissioning activities.
