Description
The PLC Programmer develops, programs, and engineers PLC controls and visualization systems for machines and plants; plans and executes projects; reviews supplier offers; commissions technical functionalities; troubleshoots faults; and commissions systems at the customer while training employees. The role requires a degree or further training in automation engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification, PLC programming knowledge, international travel of about 15–20%, and strong German and English skills.
