The Automation Technician installs, configures, maintains, troubleshoots, and optimizes automation equipment and control systems in manufacturing operations. The role covers PLC and robotic-system programming, preventive and corrective maintenance, software and firmware updates, system testing, sensor and actuator calibration, maintenance records, and collaboration with internal teams and vendors. Applicants need a diploma in automation technology, mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field, along with knowledge of automation software and control systems, electrical and mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and troubleshooting skills.
