West Chester University of Pennsylvania Facilities Division is hiring a Plumber 2 to plan, install, repair, and maintain plumbing, piping, gas, oil, water, steam, irrigation, and waste-disposal systems under the supervision of a plumbing shop foreman. The role requires working at heights, on ladders and scaffolding, operating lifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and obtaining specified water/wastewater and backflow-preventor certifications. Candidates need five years of plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance experience, including two years of independent work in commercial, industrial, or multi-unit residential structures, or an equivalent combination of experience and training, plus a valid driver’s license and three years of journeyman-level experience. The position is essential, may require overtime and work during campus closings, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
