Description
CoreCivic is hiring a Plumber to conduct and oversee plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in an institutional, secure setting. The role covers plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, gas lines, fire protection, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, sewers, pressure testing, work orders, inventory, inmate supervision, security checks, and compliance with safety, environmental, and building-code standards. Domestic U.S. travel may be required. Applicants need a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent; a Journeyman's Plumbing License and two years of plumbing experience, or an Associate's degree in a related trade and two years of plumbing experience; an additional three years of experience may substitute for the license or education requirement; and a valid driver's license. The position pays $23.68 per hour.
