Description
The Plumber performs journeyman-level plumbing work in school district buildings and facilities, including installing and repairing fixtures, back-flow preventors, sprinkler systems, and piping; testing and maintaining equipment; reading plans and schematics; estimating materials; preparing work records; and complying with safety and building codes. The role may supervise one or more employees, requires at least four years of experience working under a Master Plumber, and involves indoor and outdoor work, irregular or evening shifts, and occasional 24-hour on-call availability.
