Description
The Marine Plumber assembles, installs, maintains, and repairs marine piping systems, fittings, pumps, valves, fixtures, cooling towers, and basic air-conditioning equipment on vessels. The role also diagnoses plumbing and related onboard system malfunctions, performs leak detection and preventive maintenance, uses hand and power tools, maintains inventory and work areas, documents work, and follows safety procedures. The position requires at least two years of relevant marine-plumbing experience and the ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
