Stadtwerke Hürth is hiring a Plumbing and Mechanical Technician for Wastewater / Industrial Mechanic to support its wastewater treatment plant. The role coordinates with process, electrical, and automation teams; supervises external service providers; troubleshoots, optimizes, and maintains mechanical equipment and piping systems; monitors process flows; supports investment projects; organizes material procurement; and supports apprentice training. The position requires vocational training in plumbing and mechanical technology or a related installation trade, pump and drive maintenance experience, Microsoft Office knowledge, a class B driver’s license, outdoor work ability, and preferably residence near Hürth. It offers a 39-hour weekly schedule, public-sector benefits, and compensation up to pay grade 5 TV-V.
